This Privacy Policy describes how DOOGG PTE. LTD. ("DOOGG", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you interact with our website doo.gg, our support chat at chat.doo.gg, or any integration we operate on third-party platforms (including, but not limited to, Facebook / Meta). It applies worldwide, with additional protections where local law (GDPR, PDPA, CCPA) grants them.
DOOGG PTE. LTD., a company registered in Singapore (UEN 202543852K), with registered office at 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. We are the data controller for any personal information processed in connection with our services.
Automatically when you visit the website. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs: IP address, approximate geolocation derived from the IP, user-agent string, referrer, and timestamps. These are used for security, abuse prevention and basic operational diagnostics. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
When you use the support chat. Opening the chat widget automatically registers an anonymous guest account on our Matrix server at chat.doo.gg. A device token is stored in your browser's local storage. The messages you send, and any replies from our team, are stored on our server for the duration of the conversation. The support chat is not end-to-end encrypted by design, so that our team can read and respond to your messages. Traffic between your browser and our server is always protected by TLS.
When you connect via a third-party identity provider (such as Facebook Login, if offered). We receive the basic profile information the provider makes available to us — typically your name, email address, profile picture, and a platform-specific user ID. We only use this information to identify you in interactions with DOOGG.
When you contact us directly. Any information you provide by email, phone, or another channel — your name, contact details, the content of your message, and any attachments — is retained so we can respond and keep a record of our exchanges.
We use the information above to:
• operate and secure the website and support chat;
• respond to your questions and provide the services you request;
• maintain records required by law or for accounting purposes;
• improve our services based on anonymised operational signals.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
• Infrastructure providers strictly necessary to deliver the service (Cloudflare for hosting and CDN; our own chat server hosted on dedicated infrastructure). These providers act under contractual confidentiality obligations.
• Competent authorities, when compelled by a valid legal order or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of DOOGG, our users, or the public.
• Server logs: up to 30 days for security purposes.
• Support chat messages: for the duration of the conversation and up to 12 months afterwards, to allow continuity of support. You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 8).
• Identity-provider profile data: as long as you maintain a relationship with us; deleted on request.
• Records required by tax, accounting or other legal obligations: for the duration required by the applicable law (typically up to 7 years in Singapore).
Our servers may be located in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. By using our services, you consent to the transfer and storage of your information in those jurisdictions, subject to safeguards equivalent to those in your country.
We apply industry-standard measures to protect your information: TLS encryption in transit, restricted access to production systems, system users dedicated to each service, and regular updates of the software we operate. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting you, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:
• Access — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion — ask us to erase your data, subject to legal retention obligations. See our Data Deletion page for the procedure.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection and restriction — object to, or restrict, certain processing.
• Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the support chat on doo.gg or by writing to us at the address in Section 10. We will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.
The website uses strictly necessary technologies: Cloudflare's security cookies, and browser local storage items (prefixed ddg_chat_) used by the support chat widget to keep your session. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. You can clear local storage at any time from your browser settings.
Our services are not directed at children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The effective date at the top of the page will be updated accordingly. Material changes will be communicated via the website or, where appropriate, directly to you.
